In 2014, a young lady from Georgia named Annabelle Ham decided to launch a lifestyle YouTube channel. In 2023, she has over 80,000 subscribers who enjoyed the content she created. She had almost as many followers on Instagram. Now, her family and followers are mourning her tragic death at the age of just 22 years old.
Annabelle’s family posted on her Instagram account to share the news of her death with her followers. They wrote, “This is Annabelle’s family. We’re writing this with heavy, heavy hearts. Annabelle experienced an epileptic event and has gone on to the gates of heaven.” Her family continued the post by explaining that Ham “struggled with this for a long time and wanted to raise awareness for it, which we will do in honor of her.”
Along with a picture of Annabelle with her family, her family asked for “prayers of peace for her family and friends during this difficult time, and to allow all of us the chance to grieve and work through this as a family. Please don’t post or spread speculation or details that are unfounded. There will be a time to share more details and to go deeper into her life. Her accounts will be used to share what she went through and the joys she brought to all of us. Unnecessary comments only serve to hurt us all, this is a time for remembrance and mourning.”

In addition to the post on Annabelle’s Instagram account, her sisters also posted their own separate tributes on social media. Her sister Alexandria Ham wrote, “There will never be words for how heartbroken my family and I are. Annabelle was such a light to the world. A spark-plug. If you knew Annabelle, you loved her and loved being around her. She loved others so well too. Please keep my family in your prayers.”
Her sister Amelia Ham wrote, “I can’t even put into words how hard this is. You would never think something like this would or could happen to you until it does. Annabelle was such a good sister to Alexandria and me.” She continued, “I know she always wanted to live life to the fullest, that’s what we have to do now.”
