WWE ‘Tough Enough’ Winner Sara Lee Dead At 30

This is another story of someone dying way too young, unexpectedly. According to an autopsy report from the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office obtained by TMZ, Lee died by suicide. According to TMZ’s reporting, “officials say Lee ingested a lethal combination of alcohol and pills. They added that the former wrestler had left ‘letters of intent at the scene’ before her death.”

In 2015, Sara Lee competed on the sixth season of WWE’s show “Tough Enough.” She ended up beating out all the other female contestants on the show and earned a contract from WWE for one year.

Lee wrestled for WWE throughout most of 2016. Then her contract ended, and she started wrestling on the independent circuit. She also got married.

In 2017, Lee married former WWE wrestler Wesley Blake. The couple had three children together. They lived and trained together in Orlando, Florida.

Lee kept her Instagram account pretty up-to-date, posting pictures of her family, her life and her workouts.

Just two days ago, she posted what would be her final post. She posted a picture of herself wearing gym clothes, looking in the mirror in a bathroom. She captioned the photo, “Celebrating finally being healthy enough to go to the gym 2 days in a row. First ever sinus infection kicked my butt.”

While Lee seemed to be happy that she was recovering from a sinus infection, something shortly thereafter apparently went terribly wrong. Earlier today, Lee’s mother, Terri Lee, announced her daughter’s death on Facebook. She wrote, “It is with heavy hearts we wanted to share that our Sara Weston has gone to be with Jesus. We are all in shock and arrangements are not complete. We ask that you respectfully let our family mourn. We all need prayers especially Cory and her children.”

Lee was only 30 years old.
