The World’s “Most Monstrous” Bodybuilder Passed Away At 36

Illia “Golem” Yefimchyk, best known as the world’s “most monstrous” bodybuilder passed away unexpectedly on September 8. The Belarusian bodybuilder who posted on Youtube about his daily 16,500-calorie diet and hardcore workouts was only 36 years-old.

His wife Anna Yefimchyk confirmed her husband’s death to 7 News. On September 6, the Belarusian athlete suffered a heart attack. His wife, Anna, immediately administered CPR before he was airlifted to a clinic. Sadly, two days later, his death was confirmed.

“I stayed by his side every day, holding on to hope. His heart began beating again for two days,” Anna shared with local media. “But then the doctor gave me the devastating news that his brain had died.”

Anna expressed her gratitude to Illia’s fans, saying, “It’s incredibly comforting to know I’m not alone. So many people have reached out with help and support, and I’m truly grateful for that.”

Standing 6 feet tall and weighing 340 pounds, Illia was renowned for his impressive 25-inch biceps and his playful videos on social media. Over the years, he shared glimpses of his intense diet and workout routines, which included consuming 20 protein shakes daily, devouring a 103-piece sushi boat, and maintaining a staggering 16,500-calorie diet.

Illia was also open about his use of supplements, growth hormones, and steroids, discussing them candidly on his YouTube and Instagram accounts, where he garnered over 300,000 followers.
