I remember when I was in high school, I had some adults in my life tell me that high school was the best time of my life. What they meant by that was that they thought my life was easier because I didn’t have a job and didn’t have bills to pay yet. What they didn’t realize was that school was my job and it was a lot of hard work and often stressful at times.

Sometimes school can feel like a never ending testing process. As soon as you finish studying for a test in one class, there’s another test to study for. It’s a lot of memorization, and it’s a lot of work.

Some students are better at preparing for tests than others. Not everyone does well on tests. Sometimes a student might freeze up or forget what they learned. Other times, maybe they didn’t have enough time to prepare due to other circumstances and obligations outside of school.

A student named Brandon Caudill knows what it’s like to do poorly on a test. He explained that he knows it’s “hard for some people to remember” everything they need to memorize to do well on a test. He said, “I used to struggle pretty hard.”

Caudill has been doing well in school recently including in his history class taught by a teacher named Winston Lee. Caudill has been doing so well, in fact, that he actually earned some bonus points.

During the next test, Lee noticed that Caudill wrote a note at the bottom of his history test. He had never seen a note like this one before, and it made him think even more highly of Caudill. He wanted to share what Caudill wrote, so he posted a picture of the note on Facebook where it quickly went viral.
