Singers Nick Carter and Aaron Carter also had three other siblings, sisters Bobbie Jean Carter, Angel Carter, and Leslie Carter. Today, only two of the siblings are still living.

Back in 2012, Leslie lost her life after a drug overdose. Then, in 2022, Aaron drowned in his bathtub, which was also related to drug use. Now, Jane Carter, the mother of Nick, Aaron, Bobbie Jean, Angel, and Leslie, has shared the sad news that her daughter Bobbie Jean has also died.

Jane told TMZ, “I am in shock from learning of the sudden death of my daughter, Bobbie Jean; and I will need time to process the terrible reality of this happening for the third time.  When I am able to think clearly, I’ll release a fuller statement; but until then I would request to be left to grieve in private.”

However, Jane did add one more comment. She asked for prayers for her granddaughter, Bella. Jane explained, “However deeply a parent feels the loss of a child, the suffering of a young child at the loss of a parent must be much greater. So, I would ask the sympathetic to say a prayer for my precious eight-year-old granddaughter Bella, who previously lost her father and is now also left without her mother.”

According to TMZ, Bobbie Jean died on December 23, 2023, the Saturday before Christmas, in Florida. She was 41 years old.

An exact cause of death has yet to be shared publicly, but TMZ reported that Bobbie Jean struggled with substance abuse and addiction during her life. This past June, she was arrested in Florida for stealing from Hobby Lobby. In addition, she allegedly had drugs in her possession.

Bobbie Jean mainly stayed out of the spotlight during her life, but she was on 8 episodes of the reality series “House of Carters.” In addition, she also helped her brothers during their music career. For example, in the ’90s, she worked as a stylist and makeup artist for her brother Aaron when he was on tour.

Bobbie Jean is survived by her parents, brother Nick, sister Angel, and daughter Bella.
