This Simple Hack For Avoiding Camel Toe While Wearing Biker Shorts Has Gone Viral On TikTok

Ladies who wear spandex, leggings or biker shorts or raving about a simple hack shared on TikTok. The hack was created by a fashion student named Sophia Edmunds back in 2013, but she just recently decided to share it with the world.

When Sophia was younger, she used to be a dancer. She shared in her first TikTok video about this hack that she “was a dancer for 15 years.” That means she knows how it feels and looks to wear skin tight pants and shorts on a regular basis. She noticed the fabric creeping up in front and created a camel toe look. She didn’t necessarily care about how it looked, but she definitely didn’t like the way it felt and knew she needed to come up with a solution.

Sophia said she “tried the panty liner trick” and didn’t like the way it felt, so she created her own hack using a bra pad. She used a thong to create the perfect shape and cut the bra pad in a triangle shape to match. She explained that it took a little trial and error to get just the right shape, but once she did, it completely solved the camel toe problem.

Watch the video below to see Sophia describe this hack for yourself.

In the video above, Sophia says that the triangle shaped pad goes in “the little insert, the little flappy part that you can just stick this in.” If you don’t know what she’s talking about, that’s okay. She created a follow-up video where she demonstrates exactly where to put this pad, and she also responded to common questions like how hygienic this hack actually is. Check out her follow up video below.

Her followers are raving about this simple hack. One comment reads, “Girl…. I love you for this thank you 😂 trying this immediately.”

Another person wrote, “I love when girls look out for other girls, ya know? It’s very comforting, thank you for sharing.”

If you’re wondering if this hack actually works, multiple viewers confirmed that it does. One person wrote, “I just did this and it worked so well thank you.”

Another comment reads, “I have been doing this for years as well!”

Some comments encouraged Sophia to turn this hack into a product you can buy. That was not her original intention, but she is open to the idea. If you think she should market this product, you can support her GoFundMe here.

Sophia has pointed out that this hack for her was about comfort not necessarily style, and it’s perfectly fine for girls to rock the camel toe if they want to. She explained in a comment, “I did this simply because tight-fitted clothes like these cause discomfort and this was a great solution to provide more support.”

Are you going to try this hack? Do you thing tight fitting pants and shorts are uncomfortable when they ride up?
