Tina Turner is a talent singer, but being rich and famous definitely does not eliminate sorrow. Tina has suffered from her fair share of loss, and loss that no mother ever wants to suffer.

Turner’s son Ronnie Turner has died at the age of 62. Law enforcement officials told TMZ that on Thursday night, December 8, 2022, they responded to a 911 call from a home in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. According to the home owners, Ronnie was outside their home, and he was having trouble breathing. Just a short while later, Ronnie was no longer breathing at all.

Bystanders attempted to perform CPR, but it didn’t help. When the paramedics arrived at the home, they pronounced Ronnie dead.

A cause of death has not yet been revealed; however, Ronnie has suffered from various medical conditions over the years including a fight with cancer.

Earlier today, Tina acknowledged Ronnie’s death on Instagram. She posted a picture of herself with her eyes closed and captioned the photo, “Ronnie, you left the world far too early. In sorrow I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son.”

Ronnie is not the first child Tina has lost. Her son Craig Raymond Turner died back in 2018 when he committed suicide. He was at his home in Studio City, California, when he shot himself.

In an Instagram post, Tina called saying goodbye to Craig, “My saddest moment as a mother.” In an Instagram post, she wrote, “On Thursday, July 19, 2018, I said my final goodbye to my son, Craig Raymond Turner, when I gathered with family and friends to scatter his ashes off the coast of California. He was fifty-nine when he died so tragically, but he will always be my baby.”
