Rock Star Dave Grohl Reveals He Fathered A Baby Outside His Marriage
Foo Fighters Dave Grohl revealed he fathered a baby daughter outside of his marriage to Jordyn Blum. He is working to regain his family’s trust.
He took to Instagram on September 10 and wrote:
“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,”
“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”
Grohl concluded saying he was “grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved as we move forward together.”

The frontman did not reveal any details of who is the mother of his baby.
Grohl (55) and Blum got married in 2003 and have three daughters together: Violet, Harper, and Ophelia. Jordyn Blum is a former model and director. The two share a strong bond, with Grohl often speaking about how his family, especially his wife, has grounded and supported him throughout his music career. They keep a relatively low profile despite Grohl’s fame, focusing on their family life.
Before forming Foo Fighters in 1994, Grohl was the drummer for the iconic grunge band Nirvana. After Nirvana’s end following the death of lead singer Kurt Cobain, Grohl started Foo Fighters as a solo project, recording the debut album entirely on his own.
