Popular Rock Band Cancels Multiple Shows
Rock band Pearl Jam is currently on tour in Europe, but the band was forced to cancel several concerts at the last minute due to illness. The band made the announcement on X on June 30, 2024, just a few days before the canceled concerts, which were scheduled to take place in Berlin on July 2nd and July 3rd.
In the statement on X, the band wrote, “We are sorry to share that the Pearl Jam concerts scheduled for Tuesday, July 2nd and Wednesday, July 3rd in Berlin are cancelled.”
The band apologized for the inconvenience and shared that they tried their best not to have to cancel the concerts. The band explained, “Despite everyone’s best efforts, the band has yet to make a full recovery.”
The band also emphasized that they are aware of how this decision will impact many people who planned to attend the concerts. They wrote, “The impacts of this decision are not lost on us. We feel deeply that so many people spend their time, money, and emotional energy to get tickets and then to come see the band and it is heart wrenching to disappoint you.”
Unfortunately, the concerts will not be rescheduled. The band explained that rescheduling was not possible and “tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase.”

Pearl Jam also cancelled a concert in London that was set to take place on June 29th. They cancelled the concert one day before it was set to take place “due to illness in the band.” Like the shows in Berlin, the show in London will not be rescheduled.
The next shows on the tour are set for July 6th and 8th in Madrid, Spain, but it is not yet known if the band will perform as scheduled or if these shows will be cancelled as well.
