Rebel Wilson Shows Off Her Extraordinary Weight Loss in New Instagram Photo
“Okay so for me 2020 is going to be called ‘The Year of Health’ – so I put on the athleisure and went out for a walk, deliberately hydrating on the couch right now and trying to avoid the sugar and junk food which is going to be hard after the holidays I’ve just had but I’m going to do it!” she captioned the initial post.
Since then, the actress has been documenting her weight-loss journey via photos on her account, explaining what type of diet and exercises she’s been doing. So far, she’s been killing it! The pictures speak for themselves.
In a recent photo, she’s wearing a bright yellow dress with a cinched belt at the waistline and looks more amazing than ever. The caption says, “Hottest day of the year,” but we’re not buying it. She looks way too good to be sweating!

So what’s her secret to shedding the pounds? Wilson has been working out five days a week with her celebrity fitness trainer, Jono Castano. She mainly does heavy lifting and high-intensity workouts.
“When people train with me, it’s about training and getting results, it’s not there for me to be on my phone and muck around,” Castano once said.
As far as nutrition, she’s not into being paleo or keto, but follows something called the Mayr method. The main points of the diet are to avoid snacking, pay more attention to what you’re eating for breakfast vs. dinner, reduce dairy and gluten intake and try to eat without any distractions (like being on your phone or watching TV). The diet also insists that you chew each bite of food 40 times (though we’re not sure how accurately Wilson follows that for EVERY bite).
Additionally, Wilson tries to ensure to do some basic healthy habits: to stretch after her workouts, get a good night’s sleep, and manages her stress as much as possible.
Well, whatever she’s doing is surely working! Check out her Instagram for even more progress photos of her weight loss.
She’s always looked great, but how amazing does Wilson look now? Have you been tackling your fitness goals while in quarantine?
