Rebel Wilson Reveals Why She Was Banned From Disneyland

Disneyland, it’s the original Disney theme park, and it’s known as the happiest place on Earth. Yet, just like everywhere else, Disneyland has rules, and if you break a rule, there may be consequences. In some cases, guests can be escorted off of Disney property. In other cases, guests can actually be banned from Disneyland.

You might think that if you’re a celebrity, like Rebel Wilson, you’d be above the Disneyland rules. It turns out that a rule is a rule, and Disneyland enforces them no matter who you are.

On “The Daily Show,” Wilson admitted that she was actually banned from Disneyland. She explained that she broke one of the rules, and Disney told her that she would be banned from the park for 30 days. However, Wilson is a celebrity, so the 30 day ban wasn’t really as strict as it might sound.

Watch the video below to hear for yourself why Wilson got banned from Disneyland and how Disney modified the rules for her because she’s a celebrity.

As Wilson admitted, she was banned from the theme park because of a picture she took that she wasn’t supposed to take; however, she was able to pick when she would be banned from the park. It seems that she actually got off very lightly, but even 30 days without Disneyland was a big deal for Wilson. As she explained, “It’s just, I go there every weekend and like every important holiday and every important life event.”

While getting banned from Disneyland was bad news, there has also been recent good news in Wilson’s life, and this news also happened at Disneyland.

On “The Drew Barrymore Show,” Wilson explained that she recently proposed to her girlfriend, Ramona Agruma, at Disneyland, and Agruma said yes.

According to Wilson, Disneyland isn’t just the happiest place on earth, it’s also “the happiest proposal place on Earth.”

Wilson actually got permission from Disney CEO Bob Iger to propose at the famous theme park. Her proposal was quite elaborate and involved roping off an area of the park to arrange flowers and have room for a violinist to play classic Disney music.

Does it surprise you that Wilson got banned from Disneyland? Do you know anyone who has been banned from a theme park?
