Popular Rock Star Arrested
Justin Timberlake was arrested on Tuesday on Long Island, Sag Harbor. The rock star faces DUI related charges, and was arraigned at about 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Sag Harbor is a part of the Hamptons, and approximately 100 miles from New York City.
According to TMZ, the 43-year-old singer was driving back from a party at The American Hotel, a little bit after midnight. He was quickly pulled over shortly after starting his drive. It is said that he didn’t stop at a stop sign, and was swerving. He was taken into custody by Sag Harbor Police, and arrested on the suspicion he was driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Sources also said Justin’s friends tried to talk the police into releasing Justin, and giving him a break.
Timberlake is a multi-talented artist whose career spans music, acting, and business. Timberlake first gained fame as a member of the boy band *NSYNC, one of the best-selling boy bands of all time.
After *NSYNC in 2002, Timberlake embarked on a solo career, releasing his debut album Justified the same year.
