Former football star Jason Kelce destroyed a Penn State football fan’s phone  when the fan directed a homophobic slur toward Jason’s brother, Travis Kelce, over his relationship with Taylor Swift, leading Jason to smash the fan’s phone in response.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, Nov. 2, retired Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce was seen outside Beaver Stadium in State College, Pennsylvania, during the Penn State-Ohio State game. Surrounded by football fans, Jason, 36, was walking through the crowd when a fan filming the scene raised a fist, calling out for a fist bump. Just then, another man nearby directed a homophobic slur toward Kelce, igniting the tense moment captured in the footage.

“Hey, Kelce. How does it feel your brother’s a f—– dating Taylor Swift?” the man asked, using the slur to refer to Travis, who has been dating Swift, 34, since 2023.

The man continues to harass  Kelce, seemingly recording him. Eventually, the former NFL player stops, turns around, grabs the fan’s phone, and smashes it on the ground.

Multiple videos shared on social media captured the exchange. In one clip, Kelce seems to be walking away with the phone. In another, when the man demands his phone back, Kelce appears to reply, “Who’s the [expletive] now?”

The incident occurred while Jason Kelce was attending ESPN’s College GameDay at Beaver Stadium. The Ohio State Buckeyes went on to defeat the Penn State Nittany Lions 20-13.
