Paul Rudd Actually Stood In The Rain and Handed Out Cookies To Voters
Many voters took advantage of the opportunity to vote early, but some voters in Brooklyn were in for a special treat. It was a rainy day, but the voters showed up anyway, and so did real life awesome guy Paul Rudd.
Voting early on a rainy rainy day meant no lines at the Barclay Center, Brooklyn.Special bonus: Paul Rudd gave us cookies!(Crazy thought: is bad weather just another insidious GOP vote suppression tactic?) pic.twitter.com/xVZY9FEe5B

The actor and musician didn’t just show up to say hi or take selfies. He handed out cookies from Milk Bar. It seems that that options were blueberry and corn.
This morning I voted early for @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris at @barclayscenter in Brooklyn and then Paul Rudd gave me a cookie. He tried to trick me into choosing a corn cookie over a blueberry cookie (no dice). Otherwise a very nice guy! #VoteEarly #BidenHarris2020 pic.twitter.com/6rvdTKa34J

Twitter users posted pictures and videos of Rudd handing out cookies and told their followers to go vote at Barclays Center so they too could have a chance of getting a cookie from Rudd.
Honestly, we can’t think of anything that would encourage us to vote early more than getting a cookie from Rudd. Perhaps polling places should starting handing out cookies instead of “I Voted” stickers.

Let’s take a second to acknowledge that Rudd didn’t seem that concerned about getting soaking wet. Sure, there was someone standing near him with an umbrella, but it didn’t look like he was trying very hard to stand under it. He was more concerned about thank the voters and handing out cookies.

No matter who people voted for, it seems that Rudd was the clear winner, and so was everyone who got a free cookie.
Did you vote early? Would you be more likely to vote if you got a free cookie?
