Actor Known For His Roles On Nickelodeon, ‘Days of Our Lives’ Dies At 34

Cody Longo was a talented actor and musician who is know for his roles in shows including “Days of Our Lives,” “Make It or Break It,” “Hollywood Heights,” “Nashville” and “Secrets and Lies.” He also stared in films including the 2009 remake of “Fame,” “48 Hours to Live,” “The Last Movie Star” and “Death House.”

According to his representative, Alex Gittelson, Longo had taken some time away from acting to pursue a music career, but he planned to return to acting in 2023. Unfortunately, that won’t happen.

On Wednesday February 15, 2023, Longo’s wife, Stephanie Clark, was unable to reach her husband while she was at work, and that gave her an uneasy feeling. She decided to ask the police to check on him.

Longo didn’t answer the door when the police arrived at the residence in Austin, Texas, so they kicked the door down. They found Longo in bed. He was dead. He was only 34 years old.

There is no official time of death or cause of death that has been released yet, but a family member who spoke to TMZ believes that his death could have been alcohol related. According to the source, he spent the summer in rehab. It’s possible he relapsed.

TMZ also spoke to Longo’s wife who called him “an amazing father and the best husband.” She said, “Our whole world is shattered.”

In a statement from Clark that was shared by Gittelson, Clark shared, “Cody was our whole world. The kids and I are shattered and beyond devastated. He was the best dad and husband. We will always and forever miss you and love you.”

Longo is survived by his wife and their three children, a 7 year old daughter, a 5 year old son and a 1 year old son.
