Have you ever had a friend tell you about their amazing find at Salvation Army for only a couple dollars? I have. Many of those items are gently used. Some are new. I prefer new over used.

I have always found fantastic deals, often at the same or even better prices than S.A, when shopping end-of-season clearance sales at stores like Kohl’s, T.J. Maxx, JC Penny & Target. Those are my favorite stores to shop for great bargains.

I have frequently found deals for $1 to $10, sometimes a little more. You do have to take the time to search. But it’s worth it for the savings. Also, if a store is closing, the best time to shop there is a week or so before closing. That’s when the biggest discounts will occur. Amazing deals are to be had in abundance!
