Country music sensation Morgan Wallen found himself in hot water once again as he was arrested in Nashville on three felony charges, stirring up headlines across the entertainment world.

According to reports, the 30-year-old singer-songwriter was apprehended after allegedly hurling a chair off the roof of a bar in downtown Nashville late Sunday night. The incident unfolded when two officers stationed on the street in front of Chief’s Bar witnessed the chair crash onto the ground mere feet away from them, as detailed in an arrest report cited by WTVF.

Video footage reviewed by law enforcement corroborated these claims, showing Wallen “lunging and throwing an object over the roof,” according to the arrest report. Witnesses further attested to seeing Wallen “pick up the chair, throw it over him, laughing afterward,” as reported by WKRN.

Wallen now faces three counts of reckless endangerment, stemming from the danger posed to both law enforcement officers and the general public. Additionally, he has been charged with disorderly conduct. Online jail records indicate that Wallen was booked at 12:36 a.m. on Monday and released approximately two hours later at 3:29 a.m.

In response to the incident, Wallen’s attorney Worrick Robinson issued a statement, confirming his client’s cooperation with authorities. “At 10:53 p.m. Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct,” stated Robinson.

This arrest marks another setback for Wallen, occurring just days after the launch of the 2024 leg of his “One Night at a Time” tour. The tour features tracks from his immensely popular album, “One Thing at a Time,” which has enjoyed unprecedented success on the charts. Last month, the album clinched the top spot for the 19th time, solidifying its status as the longest-reigning country album in history.
