An important update to the Matthew Perry case has been made, there have been several arrests and one of the people in custody is a Doctor.

According to TMZ, “Law enforcement sources tell us … multiple law enforcement agencies have executed search warrants and seized computers, phones and other electronic equipment to determine who supplied Perry with the ketamine that caused him to lose consciousness last October and drown in his hot tub in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles.”

In the months leading up to Perry’s death, he had been receiving ketamine infusions on a regular basis, but his last infusion was a week and a half prior to his death. Ketamine only lasts for hours, so the ketamine found in Perry’s body when he died must have come from somewhere else.

Authorities told TMZ, Perry took ketamine which had not been legally prescribed and many agencies like the Police, Postal Service, DEA, and others have been investigating this case for months.

It has been indicated there were text messages describing Matthew Perry and his ketamine request. These messages described the logistics of how they were going to get the ketamine to the actor. Also, the message mentioned the price Perry was ready to pay in exchange for the drug.

This is a developing story. TMZ has reported 1 doctor was arrested with many dealers who made the arrangements and brought the illicit goods to Perry.

Earlier Tiphero reported that law enforcement obtained a search warrant and searched Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s ex sober living house. She was surprised and had no idea this was going to happen. However, she fully cooperated with the search and was not arrested. There has been no word connecting Mueller to these arrests. In the original Tiphero story, Mueller was unnamed. According to TMZ, this investigation discovered other celebrities who may have been involved.

Matthew Perry had struggled with drug abuse and addiction throughout his life, but in recent years, life had been looking up for the former “Friends” star. That’s one reason it shocked the world when Perry died in the hot tub at his home on October 28, 2023. He was 54.

According to the autopsy report from the County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner, Perry’s official cause of death was determined to be “acute effects of ketamine.”
