You may know actress Lindsay Lohan from roles in films including “The Parent Trap,” “Freaky Friday” and “Mean Girls.” What you may not know is that 7 years ago Lohan moved to Dubai, and although she isn’t done acting, she has no plans to move back to Los Angeles. After all, why move back when you’ve met your soulmate overseas?
Shortly after her move to Dubai, Lohan met and started dating Bader Shammas. Shammas is not an actor. He is not in the entertainment industry at all, and he has kept his private life private; however, Page Six was able to dig up some interesting facts about the man in Lohan’s life.
Shammas is from Kuwait, but he went to college in the United States. First, he earned a mechanical engineering degree at the University of South Florida. Then, he earned a Bachelor of Science in finance at the University of Tampa. Like Lohan, he currently lives in Dubai.
In 2021, Lohan announced that she and Shammas were engaged.

The couple did not reveal any details about wedding planning or setting a date, but in a post on June 17, Lohan confirmed that they were still together and happy by posting a selfie and wishing her fiance a happy birthday.
Then, in a post just a few weeks later, Lohan casually called Shammas her “husband.” Lohan wrote, “I am stunned that you are my husband.”
Fans immediately took notice, and sources have since confirmed that the actress is in fact married. Yet, no wedding details have been revealed.
Now that Lohan and Shammas have tied the know, the question remains – what next? It sounds like if Lohan has her way, the couple may return to the United States, and she may return to more on-screen acting roles, but nothing is confirmed.
