KC Chiefs Postpone Practice Due To Medical Emergency

Practice for the Kansas City Chiefs football team was postponed on June 6. The reason behind the delay is their defensive lineman BJ Thompson suffered a medical emergency.

The Chiefs team has experienced a few bumps since their 2024 Super Bowl win, earlier this year. There is Isaiah Buggs facing alleged animal cruelty charges. A warrant was issued stating he allegedly abandoned two starving dogs at an Alabama rental home.

In April, wide receiver Rashee Rice, was wanted for his role in a multi-car collision in Dallas. He has already turned himself into to the police.

Currently, there is a lot of controversy over a commencement speech given by kicker Harrison Butker. He faced backlash for a controversial commencement speech he delivered at the graduation ceremony for Benedictine College, a Catholic school. His views he highlighted were in opposition to abortion, IVF, President Biden and even women working outside the home.
