Joy Behar received a shocking birthday surprise from her buddy Nathan Lane (Broadway actor and comedian) on The View. On the October 4 episode of a daytime talk show, Nathan Lane, 68, surprised the host — who is turning 82 on October 7 — with a pizza delivery man stripper as a playful birthday gift. When Lane joined the group he looked at Behar and said,
“By the way, you do not look whatever age you’re admitting to. You have looked the same since 1998.
“You know what they say — Black don’t crack, but Italian doesn’t either,” Behar replied.
At the end of his interview, co-host Ana Navarro asked if he had shown up without a gift for his longtime friend. Lane quickly responded:
“No I did not! Because Joy is still a hot Italian woman, I have ordered Joy a hot Italian pizza.”
A man dressed in a pizza-themed T-shirt and baseball cap confidently walked onto the stage, approaching Behar with a pizza box in hand.
“Bring it, bring it, bring it, bring it!” the TV host said while waving him closer to her seat.
The man tore off his shirt, launching into a playful dance and thrusting in Behar’s direction. He took her hand, kissed it, then performed a series of flips and dance moves, entertaining everyone in the studio.
Behar appeared to play along with the striptease, smiling, clapping, and laughing along with her co-hosts.
At one point, she humorously fanned herself with her hands and note cards, pretending to cool down from the excitement.
At the end of the striptease, Behar asked “Where’s my pizza?”
