Jay Leno, the 74-year-old former host of The Tonight Show and well-known TV personality, is recovering after a serious fall. He arrived at a recent comedy performance sporting an eye patch, a broken wrist, and visible bruises on his face.

In an interview with Inside Edition, Leno explained that he had tumbled down the side of a hill while heading to dinner before a show in Pittsburgh.

“I’m a little beat up,” Leno told Inside Edition.” “I fell 60 feet. Boom, boom, boom, boom.”

Leno shared that he “hit a bunch of rocks” during the fall, leaving him “all black and blue.” One of the rocks struck his eye, necessitating the use of an eye patch, and he also lost a fingernail in the accident.
