Mom Horrified After Seeing Inappropriate Shirt Her Daughter Wore To School Picture Day
The 29-year-old mom, Paige Ward , blames sheer exhaustion after she dressed her 2-year-old, Emma, in a shirt that read “Sasshole” across the front on picture day. The shirt, which was a gift from a friend, was just the first thing Paige saw one chaotic morning and didn’t think twice about it.
“I woke up that morning exhausted and grabbed the first thing out of her closet I could see, which happened to be the famous “sasshole” shirt,” she said about the day, when she was coming off a 60-hour week of working in an urgent care clinic.
Okay, sure—it’s not the most appropriate shirt for school, let alone school picture day, but was it really so bad?
The problem was that in the photos, Emma’s arm is covering up the “S” in “Sasshole”—and we all know what that makes the word say!
What makes it even more hilarious is Emma is smiling ear to ear in the photo, with the white words plastered on the black T-shirt screaming back at the camera, only as if to say, “yes, I am an a**hole, hear me roar!”
Paige went back and forth between being completely embarrassed about the photos, and thinking the whole thing was hysterical.
“Oh my god. Everyone is going to think I’m a horrible mother. How could I do this?” she thought, however adding: ‘The entire time I was dying laughing because it just fits Emma’s personality and 2020 so well.’
She shared the photos in a now-viral TiKTok video, captioned “’If you ever thought you were a bad mom… at least you didn’t forget picture day, and send your toddler to school in this.” The video received more than 1.2 million likes on the app.

Luckily, most people thought the shirt was hilarious.
“That’s priceless!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 She’ll be proud of that later! She had a cool mom!” someone wrote.
“Cutest thing I’ve seen in forever…sorry to laugh but I love it,” another said.
“I would 100% buy that year book and the prints!” another agreed.
Have you ever sent your kid to school in a funny outfit for picture day?
