HGTV Stars’ Shocking Divorce Details Revealed

Christina Hall’s divorce from Josh Hall has taken a dramatic turn with new and shocking details emerging. The “Christina on the Coast” star, 41, recently filed an ex parte motion detailing a series of contentious events and accusations involving her soon-to-be ex-husband, Josh Hall.

In her filing, Christina alleges that Josh has been involved in several unauthorized visits to their Newport Beach, California home. She claims that during one such visit, Josh took personal items from the house and plugged in security cameras she had previously disconnected. Christina’s motion reveals that Josh’s actions were linked to a request from his lawyer, who had asked for the preservation of electronic evidence.

“Josh’s attorney sent a letter demanding that I preserve electronic evidence without it being automatically deleted, so I unplugged cameras so the system would not automatically overwrite the hard drive,” Christina explained in the legal documents. “Each time Josh has returned to the house, he has plugged the cameras back in, which would allow him to keep me and my children under surveillance.”

Josh’s representatives have responded, asserting that he “wouldn’t even know how to turn the cameras off” and that he “has nothing to hide.” Despite this, Christina remains firm in her objection to him having access to the surveillance system.

The couple’s legal dispute also encompasses financial disagreements. Josh filed for divorce on July 15, citing “irreconcilable differences,” and requested spousal support from Christina. In response, Christina filed her own motion on July 24, arguing against any spousal support and detailing the various properties at stake, including their $12 million Newport Beach mansion.

Christina’s filing also includes allegations of financial misconduct by Josh. She claims that he mishandled funds from two rental properties she owns in Tennessee, directing a property manager to transfer $35,000 in rent payments to his personal account shortly after she announced her intention to file for divorce. Christina’s publicist, Cassie Zebisch-Schienle, refuted Josh’s claims, stating that all expenses related to the properties have always been handled by Christina through autopay accounts.

Christina and Josh began dating in March 2021 and went public with their relationship in July of that year. They married in a private courthouse ceremony in October 2021 and held a public oceanfront celebration in Maui in November 2022. Their marriage lasted less than three years before the split.

Before their separation, the couple was set to co-star in an upcoming HGTV series, “The Flip Off,” where they would have competed against Christina’s ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, and his new wife, Heather El Moussa.

The show, scheduled to premiere in 2025, was announced on May 15. However, multiple sources have confirmed that Christina has resumed filming with Tarek and Heather, while Josh is no longer involved. HGTV has yet to comment on the status of Josh’s participation in the series.

As the legal battle continues, fans and followers of the HGTV star are eagerly awaiting further developments in this high-profile divorce.
