Actor Angus Cloud is probably best known for the character he portrayed on the HBO series “Euphoria.” Cloud starred as Fezco on the series which aired from 2019 through 2022. Other notable credits include “North Hollywood,” “The Line” and “The Perfect Woman.” He has three upcoming projects, “Your Lucky Day,” “Freaky Tales,” and un untitled “Monster Thriller” that’s currently in production for Universal Studios. Unfortunately, he will never get to see the final result of his work on those projects.

TMZ has shared the sad news that Cloud has died at the age of 25 years old. An official cause of death has yet to be released, but his family suspects a possible drug overdose and mentions that he has struggled with his mental health, especially recently. His father died just last week, and he was having a really hard time coping with this loss.

Cloud was at his family’s home in Oakland, California, at the time of his death. Cloud’s mother called 911 around 11:30am on Monday July 31, 2023, and said that she suspected her son had overdosed on drugs. The Oakland police department and fire department responded to the call. When they arrived, Cloud didn’t have a pulse and was pronounced dead.

According to a source who spoke to TMZ, last week Cloud attended his father’s funeral in Ireland, and since his father’s death, he had been struggling with suicidal thoughts. After returning to the United States, he was staying at his family’s home to try to deal with his grief.

In a statement shared with TMZ, Cloud’s family explained, “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.” The statement continues, “Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”

The family has also asked for privacy while they process their grief.

Rest in peace.
