Skai Jackson, 22, best known for her role on Disney show ‘Jessie’, has been arrested for alleged domestic battery on August 8 at Universal Studios..

The police came to the site after security detained Jackson. Law enforcement officials analyzed surveillance footage which allegedly shows Jackson pushing her boyfriend.

“Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the actress, best known for starring in the Disney shows, “Jessie” and “Bunk’d,” was arrested last week for domestic violence. We’re told deputies were called to Universal CityWalk after security spotted Jackson and her boyfriend getting into it … and the actress allegedly pushed him, and more than once.”

Sources told TMZ the couple both deny that things got violent. The couple claims to be “happily engaged” and have a baby on the way.

Jackson was arrested with alleged charges of misdemeanor domestic battery and then released shortly after.

The case is under review by the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office” to determine if charges are warranted

Her most major role was as Zuri Ross in the Disney Channel series “Jessie” (2011-2015) and its spinoff “Bunk’d” (2015-2018). Skai portrayed Zuri Ross for several years on these popular Disney Channel shows. Additionally, she has lent her voice to characters in animated series such as “Bubble Guppies” and “Ultimate Spider-Man.”

Skai also has her own YouTube channel where she shares lifestyle content, beauty tips, and personal vlogs. In 2019, she authored a book titled “Reach for the Skai: How to Inspire, Empower, and Clapback.” In 2020, she competed in the 29th season of “Dancing with the Stars.”
