In early July, Queen Mary of Denmark (52) was hit by a scooter while she was on a royal visit with her husband in Greenland. The scooter was a mobility scooter driven by an elderly man. It was later declared an accident by palace security. The elderly man made a mistake, and held no ill will towards the Queen.

There are viral videos making rounds on social media that shows the incident. The video shows Queen Mary talking amongst a crowd in Nuuk, Greenland. Then, she was hit by a large black mobility scooter on her side. This causes her to stumble, and a bodyguard pushes the scooter back. Queen Mary comes back into the video, visibly startled.
