Country music singer Zach Bryan and his girlfriend, Brianna LaPaglia, recently survived a severe car crash that left them both counting their blessings. The incident, described as “traumatizing” by LaPaglia, took place late last week and has since sparked discussions about the critical importance of seat belts.
LaPaglia, a popular podcaster with a strong TikTok following, shared the harrowing details in a video posted on Tuesday. “Two nights ago, Zach and I got into a traumatizing side-by-side car crash. It flipped a bunch of times. Everything shattered, and thank God we had our seatbelts on,” she revealed. The crash was so intense that both believed they might not survive. “There was a lot of blood, and we thought, like, we were saying goodbye to each other,” LaPaglia shared.

The couple’s ordeal ended with them receiving medical attention. “After the ambulance came and he got all stitched up, we were like, ‘Oh my God, thank God. Didn’t hit an artery. It was just a huge gash.’ We were OK. We are happy and alive,” LaPaglia recounted.
In a separate video, LaPaglia underscored the life-saving role of seat belts. “I will be that annoying person,” she said, expressing her new mission to advocate for seat belt usage. “I will spend the rest of my life saying, ‘Wear your seat belts.’” She noted that her commitment to wearing a seat belt stemmed from her upbringing and a tragic incident involving a high school friend who died without wearing one. “If we didn’t have our seat belts on, we would literally be decapitated — broken necks or dead.”
Although Bryan has not publicly commented on the crash itself, he did express his gratitude for LaPaglia in a heartfelt Instagram story. “This lady holds the weight up of everyone around her day in and day out. Through these month-long tour runs, to my degenerate ass making an album,” Bryan wrote. “You’re my muse Brianna, and I don’t understand how the hell you hold it together when people around you can’t. Thank you forever and always no matter what.”
