Abby and Brittany Hensel, the conjoined twins who captured hearts on TLC’s reality series, have embarked on a new chapter as Abby ties the knot with Josh Bowling, a nurse and U.S. Army veteran. The duo, now 34, reside in Minnesota, their birthplace and current home.

After stepping away from the spotlight post their 2012 show “Abby & Brittany,” the twins found contentment in teaching fifth grade in their hometown. It was in 2021 when Abby exchanged vows with Josh, a joyous occasion they initially kept private. However, they surprised fans by sharing glimpses of their wedding on TikTok and Facebook in 2023.

Born as dicephalus conjoined twins, Abby and Brittany share a single body with two heads, two hearts, and a shared bloodstream. Each controls one side of their body, defying odds to lead a fulfilling life.

“People have been curious about us since we were born, for obvious reasons,” the twins said in the first episode of ‘Abby and Brittany.’ “But our parents never let us use that as an excuse. We were raised to believe we could do anything we wanted to do.”

Despite the challenges, the twins have achieved remarkable milestones, from obtaining their driver’s licenses to graduating college and even traveling abroad. While the possibility of expanding their family lingers, they take joy in Abby’s step into motherhood, as Josh has a child from a previous relationship.
