The couple made their first public appearance together at the 2015 Academy Awards, where Eastwood was nominated for Best Picture for his film “American Sniper.”

Their relationship has been described as stable and loving, with Eastwood’s friends and family reportedly approving of Sandera. One of Eastwood’s most publicized relationships was with actress Sondra Locke, whom he met on the set of “The Outlaw Josey Wales” in 1975. Locke and Eastwood were together for 14 years, during which time they co-starred in several films, including “Every Which Way But Loose” and “Sudden Impact.”

During his relationship with Locke, Eastwood fathered two children, Scott and Kathryn, with flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves. This relationship remained discreet for many years.

Following his separation from Dina Ruiz, Eastwood became romantically involved with Erica Tomlinson-Fisher, a photographer. This relationship was relatively brief ,and coincided with when Eastwood and  Christina Sandera becoming a couple.
