Boxing Champion Has Tragically Passed Away At 28

Champion boxer Andrew Tham has passed away three days after being critically injured in a motorcycle crash. He was 28.

Tham was involved in an accident with a Hyundai while riding his Kawasaki motorbike. The accident occurred in the village of Cumbernauld, in Scotland. He was brought to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where he died on Sunday. Champion boxer Andrew Tham has passed away three days after being critically injured in a motorcycle crash. He was 28.

Andy was born in the United Kingdom and had a height of 5’7”. He fought with an orthodox stance. His career in professional boxing began on March 15, 2019, and spanned until 2024, during which he competed in eight bouts. Tham won the Scottish featherweight championship last September, and was 6-2 in his professional career.

Tham competed primarily in Scotland. His fighting style and resilience in the ring earned him recognition in the local boxing circuits. He will be missed. Several fans inside and outside of the boxing community posted condolences on Social Media. The St. Andrews Sporting Club, Tham’s managing club, took to Instagram and said: “Andy was a champion in the ring, and a character out of the ring. It has been an honour to have him in our stable for the entirety of his professional boxing career and he will be greatly missed by us all,”
