Boxer Suffers Medical Emergency

If you’re on an airplane and you hear an announcement asking if there are any medical professionals like a doctor or nurse on the plane, you know something has gone terribly wrong for someone on the plane. Recently, that someone was boxer Mike Tyson.

Tyson was on a cross country flight from Miami to Los Angeles when he started feeling sick and was in so much pain that the flight attendants made a request for any passengers who happen to be medical professionals to come forward and help.

It turns out that Tyson was experiencing an ulcer flare up. A representative for Tyson told TMZ, “He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing. He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.”

The plane from Miami was delayed by two hours, but Tyson’s representative explained that Tyson’s health scare had nothing to do with the delay and that Tyson felt perfectly fine when the plane took off.

When the plane landed at LAX, paramedics were on the scene ready to help Tyson. Passengers had to wait almost a half hour before they were able to leave the plane while the paramedics assessed Tyson’s condition.

While passengers on the plane knew someone on the plane was suffering from a medical emergency due to the request for medical help, most of the passengers were unaware that the passenger who was sick was Tyson.

According to Tyson’s representative, he is now doing well, and he is still planning to go forward with a scheduled fight against 27-year-old boxer and YouTuber Jake Paul.
