In 1974, they opened Moore’s Flour Mill in Redding, California, marking the inception of their commitment to whole-grain, healthy foods. The couple went on to establish Bob’s Red Mill in Milwaukie in 1978, which grew into a flourishing business.
Bob Moore’s impact extended beyond his innovative business ventures. In 2010, as Bob’s Red Mill became a $100 million company, Moore made a remarkable decision by gifting the company to his employees, embodying his values of fairness and benevolence.
