Having a dog is one of the best feelings in the world. But getting them to do things? Not so easy. Whether it’s teaching them to sit, roll over, or not eat their own poop, it might take a few tries before you get it just right.

One of the hardest things to get a dog to do however? Sit still while receiving a bath. When a dog jumps into a swimming pool, they’re as happy as can be, but put them in a bathtub and they can’t wait to get the heck out of there!

The always look visibly upset, start whining, or keep trying to get out of the tub—some successfully (hello, water everywhere).

One option is not bathing your dog ever. But one couple, Rob and Megan Hoover, came up with a much better option.

The two have two rescue dogs named Gia and Napoleon. And when the pups weren’t feeling their bath time, this couple had to get creative.

They invented a product called the Bath Buddy, which is a piece of silicone that’s shaped like a paw that you can put peanut butter in—or whatever your dog’s favorite treat is—and attach it right to your bathroom wall.

This keeps them standing upright as they lick off all their favorite goodness from the Bath Buddy, while you get to wash them down with no hassle!

The suction is super strong, and will stick to most any tub and shower surfaces such as flat tiles, porcelain and glass. The Bath Buddy is also dishwasher safe, which is always a plus for humans!

It’s such a simple solution, we’re not sure why it wasn’t invented earlier!

“Dogs and dogs owners everywhere agree that Bath Buddy is the best thing to ever happen to dog bath time,” the Hoovers state on their website.

What’s more, if you and you dog don’t absolutely love your Bath Buddy, you can return it and even get to keep the product. So you’ve really got nothing to lose!

You can purchase two Bath Buddies for $29.99 on Amazon. One for you, and one for your dog-loving friend who can’t get her dog to sit still in the bath!

Customers who’ve used the product absolutely love the Bath Buddy, and say it without a doubt makes bathing their dog easier.

“Would highly recommend this for anyone that gives their dogs a bath! We both love this!! It’s durable and the little nooks kept him busy trying to lick it off…he actually tried biting it off the tub and it stayed fast and never tore, very durable!” someone wrote.

“No fighting, no squirming, no trying to get out of the tub. What a lifesaver!” someone else wrote.

Dogs even love getting a bath when the Bath Buddy is involved—see for yourself in the video compilation below!
