The daughter of ‘Basketball Wives’ reality TV show star Brooke Bailey has died. She was killed in an interstate crash in the early morning hours on Sunday, September 25th in Memphis.

Thousands of fans are expressing their condolences on social media following the death of Kayla Nicole Bailey. She was only 25 years old at the time of her death. She worked as a hairstylist, based in Memphis Tennessee.

According to a crash report a local Memphis News affiliate WREG obtained from the Memphis Police Department, Bailey is recorded as the victim of a deadly crash involving a tractor-trailer on I-40 eastbound.

She was the passenger in a blue Mercedes-Benz S550.The car was totaled. The driver also died at the scene, and was identified as 38 year old Julius Weaver.

The Police report states the driver was “inattentive” when the accident occurred. He crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer that was stopped due to a crash further up the highway.

The cause of the crash is still pending further investigation.

“Forever my baby, Pretty Black aka Kayla Nicole Bailey, this is not a goodbye,” she wrote about her photos showing her and her daughter together. “Mommy will see you soon.”

Expressing her gratitude on Instagram Stories, she thanked friends and family for their support.

“My baby girl is so loved by all of you! The love and support my family has received today is unreal and so appreciated.”

She added “Kayla left a mark on so many lives. She entered the room and demanded respect, love and attention.

“If you had the pleasure of meeting her and being friends with her she has forever changed your life.”

Brooke Bailey, the Mother, is 45 years old and first appeared on “Basketball Wives” in 2012. She has had previous relationships with NBA stars Rashard Lewis and Vernon Macklin. She stars alongside Shaunie O’Neal, Malaysia Pargo, Brandi Maxiell, Jackie Christie, Nia Dorsey, Noria-Dorsey Taggart, Jennifer Williams, DJ Duffey, Angel Brinks and British Williams.

In the show’s most current season, Bailey starts in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments in an attempt to expand her family, according to episode summaries.
