Actress Known For Her Roles On ‘That’s So Raven’ And ‘The View’ Shares Sad News

Raven-Symoné Christina Pearman-Maday, also known as just “Raven,” best known for her roles on “That’s So Raven” and “The View,” revealed heartbreaking news about the recent passing of her younger brother, Blaize. In an emotional Instagram video posted a day after her 38th birthday, the actress shared that Blaize had lost his battle with colon cancer last month.

Expressing gratitude for the love and support she received on her birthday, Raven-Symoné admitted that the celebration was bittersweet due to her brother’s recent passing. Blaize had been battling colon cancer for approximately two years before he peacefully passed away.

In the Instagram video, Raven-Symoné acknowledged the roller coaster of emotions her family had been experiencing. She shared that the loss of her brother has been a profound and challenging journey, with emotions weaving in and out of her body and mind.

The “Cheetah Girls” star expressed her love for Blaize and promised to share more details about his life on December 16, which would have been his birthday. Raven-Symoné addressed her Instagram family, as well as her family and friends at home, expressing gratitude for their incredible support during this difficult time.
