Actress Gets Struck In Head By Audience Member
It turns out that promoting a movie or walking on stage at a concert can be quite dangerous when fans engage in the new and dangerous trend of throwing objects on stage at the performers. Singers Adele, Bebe Rexha, and Cardi B are just a few celebrities who have had objects thrown at them by fans while on stage. Actress Florence Pugh was the latest target.
On Sunday, December 3, 2023, Pugh was in São Paolo, Brazil, along with her co-stars from the upcoming film “Dune 2.” They were at ‘Comic Con’ to promote the new film and were standing together on stage when suddenly, an object thrown by someone in the crowd flew straight toward Pugh and hit her in the head.
The whole incident was caught on camera and later shared on social media. You can see what happened for yourself in this video posted to X (formerly Twitter).

When the object hit Pugh, she reacted in shock, but it didn’t seem she was hurt. Her co-stars, including Timothée Chalamet, Austin Butler, and Zendaya, immediately turned to her to see if she was okay. Thankfully, it appears that she was fine.
After seeing the video on social media, Pugh’s fans responded in shock, wondering why anyone would throw something at her. Watch the video below for more details about his incident and to hear fans’ reactions.
Before the incident, Pugh seemed excited about how excited the crowd was. Sky News reports that she told the audience, “Coming in here, the power of this room is because of the first movie.” She added, “We felt that when we went on set every single day. So it feels really, really special being here with the second one. And I’m very, very proud.”

According to TODAY, experts believe there may be a couple different reasons that fans are throwing objects on stage at celebrities. One reason could be the social media buzz that happens as a result, and they want to become famous on social media as a result of their actions. Another reason could simply be that they’re a little bit too excited to see the celebrity perform in person.
