Actress Age 19 On Life Support

‘When Calls the Heart’ actress Mamie Laverock is on life support after sustaining life threatening injuries in an accident at the hospital.

The nineteen year-old Hallmark Movie actress fell from a five-story balcony, according to a GoFundMe page her parents have created to cover her medical costs.

Her parents explained Mamie was in hospital care when the accident happened. Per the GoFundMe Mamie had a “medical emergency on May 11. Then the Mom went to Winnipeg to help her daughter and “was able to get there in time to save her life.”

Next, there was another update to the page from May 26: :”We are deeply saddened to report that on May 26th, Mamie, who has been in intensive treatment for the past two weeks, was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories. She sustained life threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support.” The update closed with, “We are all devastated, in shock, at this intensely difficult time.”

In the latest update Mamie’s mother says that Mamie has survived her injuries. Her Mom writing on on Facebook: “Thank you for your healing messages for Mamie, Mamie survived her injuries, however her road to recovery will be long. I will be setting up a mailbox for all of your cards and well wishes shortly.”

“This is an absolute miracle and there will be accountability,” Mrs. Rockmann said her daughter’s fall was not “intended” nor was it a suicide attempt. “All we care about is that Mamie can make a recovery and that she’s alive and that she’s fighting and that she’s strong. It’s unbelievable that she’s with us,” she added.

Before her work on the Hallmark Channel, Laverock’s first role was in 2012 in a movie called ‘This Means War’ with Reese Witherspoon and Tom Hardy. The downfall is her appearance ended up being cut out of the movie.

The actress is known for her her role as a nursing student on ‘When Calls the Heart.’ Through this performance she received a Young Artists Award in 2015.

Also, she acted in other productions such as ‘Wedding of Dreams, The Hollow Child (2017), and the Lifetime movie ‘Spotlight on Christmas’ (2020).
