Actor Arrested After Allegedly Attempting To Murder Former Girlfriend

Actor Nick Pasquel who reportedly stabbed his former girlfriend, Hollywood makeup artist Allie Shehorn, several times was charged and arrested yesterday, May 29.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office stated  on Wednesday that Pasquel, 34, had been charged with one count of attempted murder, a count of first-degree residential burglary with a person present, and one count of injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend or child’s parent. If convicted on all counts, he faces a maximum sentence of life in prison, the officials reported.

The former girlfriend (35 years old) has worked on many productions such as Mean Girls, Rebel Moon, and Babylon. She had filed a restraining order against Pasquel. His acting credits include Rebel Moon, Poor Paul, and National Day Riff. The two had met on the set of Rebel Moon.

Allegedly, Pasquel broke into Shehorns L.A. home around 4:30 a.m. .on May 23 and stabbed her several times. Then, he left the scene and tried to escape at the U.S./Mexico border in Sierra Blanca, Texas. The border authorities apprehended him. He will be transported back to Los Angeles County to face charges. This case is still under investigation.

Shehorn’s friends, Emily MacDonald and Jed Dornoff, have created a GoFundMe page to cover the costs of her medical care. It has been reported that she has had to undergo several surgeries.

According to an update, Shehorn was moved out of the ICU and is making positive steps in her recovery. Her friend Jed says she still has a “long road” ahead of her and added “she is facing it with courage and determination.”
