Actor’s Alleged Bad Behavior Called Out By Restaurant

Star Trek actor Zachary Quinto is being called out by a Toronto eatery for alleged bad behavior over the weekend, while dining at the restaurant. Zachary plays Spock on Star Trek.

The restaurant called Manita on Ossington Ave posted on Instagram Stories. The restaurant said “an amazing Spock, but a terrible customer.”

“Yelled at staff like an entitled child after he didn’t reply to two texts to inform him his table was ready and refused to believe the empty tables in the dining room weren’t available for him despite being politely informed they were spoken for,” the post stated

“Made our host cry and the rest of our brunch diners uncomfortable,”

“Mr. Quinto, take your bad vibes somewhere else, we have many lovely celebrities join us at Manita, but you are NOT one of them,” tagging the actor at the end of the message.

Then, on Monday June 3, the restaurant posted another message on Instagram “To expand upon yesterday’s story re: Zachary Quinto: This isn’t the first time, nor will it be the last time an irate guest has taken their frustrations out on our staff.”

“Manita is deeply grateful for our mostly incredible, friendly, gracious guests … who may give us constructive feedback from time to time,” the restaurant continued.

“To all the other Zachary Quintos out there, on behalf of restaurant workers everywhere: We aren’t above criticism, but we are above being demeaned,” the restaurant concluded.

Zachary Quinto is an American actor and producer known for his many roles in both television and film. Born on June 2, 1977, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he gained prominence through many of his key roles.

The actor played a villain Sylar in “Heros” from 2006-2010. He played a serial killer who had the ability to take on other peoples’ powers. Another series he worked on was “American Horror Story.

In “Star Trek” Reboot Series  Quinto is known for his portrayal of Spock. His performance received praised for capturing the essence of the original character first played by Leonard Nimoy. Also, Quinto has done some producing work. He has produced several films, including “Margin Call” (2011), in which he also starred.
