Actor And Surfer Has Passed Away At 49 Years Old

Actor and surfer, Tamayo Perry, passed away on June 23. He was 49. He reportedly died of a shark attack on Oahu’s North Shore, Hawaii. The lifeguard and surf instructor has also been in several movies. He played roles in “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “Blue Crush,” and “Stranger Tides.”

“EMS officials say dispatchers said the man’s body appeared to have suffered more than one possible shark bite.“Officials say lifeguards brought the man’s body to shore via jet ski, while onshore, EMS paramedics assisted with the death pronouncement.”

Emergency responders have said they responded to the incident a little bit before 1 p.m.

Honolulu Ocean Safety responded to the tragedy via jet ski. They brought the surfer to land and pronounced him dead.

He also appeared in several hit TV shows such as “Lost” and “Hawaii Five-0.”

Locals say he was loved by all.

Perry leaves behind his wife Emilia Perry. She came from Australia several years ago. She started as a pro bodyboarder and then transitioned to competitive surfing.
