‘90210’ Actor has Passed Away

Actor David Gail is probably best known for the role he played on the series “Beverly Hills 90210.” He was in a total of 8 episodes of the show staring as Stuart Carson, a love interest for Brenda Walsh, who was portrayed by Shannon Doherty

Other notable credits include the TV series “Savannah,” “The Round Table” and “Robin’s Hoods.” He also appeared in 216 episodes of the soap opera “Port Charles.” According to IMDB, he acted in 22 different projects, mainly TV series and TV movies.

On Sunday January 21, 2024, Gail’s sister, Katie Colmenares, posted a picture of herself with her brother on Instagram. Alongside the picture, she used the caption to announce the sad news of Gail’s death. She wrote, “there’s barely been even a day in my life when you were not with me by my side always my wingman always my best friend ready to face anything and anyone w me the bears will never be the same but I will hold you so tight every day in my heart you gorgeous loving amazing fierce human being missing you every second of every day forever there will never be another.”

Pete Ferriero, who hosts and produces the podcast the “Beverly Hills 90210 Show,” also shared the sad news of Gail’s death. In his memory, he posted clips on Instagram of times when Gail appeared on the podcast, including when he spoke about what it was like to work with Doherty.

According to a statement from Gail’s family that was shared with PEOPLE, Gail’s cause of death was “complications from sudden cardiac arrest.” He was only 58 years old.

The statement explained that he was found unconscious. CPR and defibrillation didn’t help. He was put on life support for several days. According to the statement, “The family has no reason to suspect the cause of his death was anything but heart failure.”

The statement continued, “David will be remembered for his love of acting and his absolute passion and dedication to his friends and family. He possessed a unique quality that made everyone feel special in his presence.”

Gail is survived by his mother, his sister and his son, Guthier.
