Actor Mo Brings Plenty, who stars on the show “Yellowstone,” is mourning the death of his nephew, Cole Brings Plenty. Cole was last seen alive on Easter. Reportedly, he was involved in a domestic violence incident that morning and later went missing.

TMZ reports that an affidavit was submitted to Lawrence Police to the District Attorney for Cole’s arrest following reports of a female screaming for help. When the police arrived, Cole had disappeared. His disappearance launched an investigation to find him. 

In a statement released on their official Facebook page, the Lawrence Kansas Police Department shared, “Lawrence Police have submitted an affidavit to the District Attorney for the arrest of Cole Brings Plenty after an incident Sunday morning at an apartment in Lawrence. We’ve identified him as the suspect, have probable cause for his arrest, and issued an alert to area agencies. Officers responded to reports of a female screaming for help, but the suspect fled before officers arrived. The investigation identified Brings Plenty and traffic cameras showed him leaving the city immediately after the incident, traveling southbound on 59 Highway.”

In addition to searching for Cole due to the domestic violence reports, the Lawrence Police also shared the his family “has contacted officers, expressed concern, and reported him as a missing person.”

Three days later, the Lawrence Police shared an update that they had found Cole. This same update also shared the news of his death. In the statement, the police department explained, “On April 5, 2024, at approximately 11:45a.m. deputies were dispatched to the area of 200th and Homestead Lane in reference to an unoccupied vehicle.”

The statement continued, “Deputies checked the area and discovered a deceased male in a wooded area away from the vehicle. The deceased male has been identified as Cole Brings Plenty, 27.”

The police are conducting an investigation regarding Cole’s death.

Cole was an actor on a spinoff series of “Yellowstone” called “1923.” He also acted on the TV series “Into the Wild Frontier” and “The Tall Tales of Jim Bridger.”
