We mark the passing of time in different ways. Most people mark the passing of time by birthdays. Sometimes when we hit a birthday, or our children reach a certain age, we remember when we were younger. For example, if you have a child who celebrates their 10th birthday, perhaps you reminisce about when you celebrated your own 10th birthday or you think about a child actor who was 10 when they were on a certain show.

Here’s another interesting way to mark the passing of time.

Actor Wilford Brimley was 18,530 days old when the movie “Cocoon” was released in theaters. On the Twitter account Brimley/Cocoon Line, celebrities are called out when they reach the exact same age Brimley was when “Cocoon” was released, so when they are also 18,530 days old, roughly 50 and a half years old.

This is a pretty random way of marking time, but it’s also fascinating to see celebrities who are almost the same age. The most recent celebrity to reach the Brimley/Cocoon Line is actress Winona Ryder.

Other celebrities who recently reached the Brimley/Cocoon Line in the past month or two include rapper Calvin Broadus (better known an Snoop Dogg), Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson, pop star Tiffany, actor Luke Wilson, and actor Alfonso Ribeiro.
