Have you ever been in charge of making Thanksgiving dinner for your family? If you have, you probably know how stressful it can be. While hosting a big family dinner might seem like a good idea in theory, it reality, it is a lot of work and takes a lot of planning.

There are many things you have to keep in mind when preparing for a large dinner. When it comes to Thanksgiving, the first thing you need to do is make sure the turkey is defrosted. Then there are all the side dishes that need to be cooked, and if you only have one oven, that can take a lot of coordination planning what to cook when and remembering when everything needs to be taken out of the oven or removed from the stove.

If you have ever watched someone make Thanksgiving dinner, you have probably witnessed the stress first hand. Maybe a mom, dad or spouse took the lead cooking dinner, and you were tasked with setting the table or running to the store for a missing ingredient.

Comedian Trey Kennedy perfectly captures the chaos of a mom preparing Thanksgiving dinner in his new video. From a frozen turkey to dirty dishes in the sink, he doesn’t miss anything that adds to the stress of turkey day. Watch the video below, and get ready to laugh.

Fans are loving this video. One viewer wrote, “This man is gonna save Thanksgiving for America.”

Other viewers have commented with their favorite lines from the video such as “No it’s fine” and “I KNOW it’s 22 degrees outside. It gets HOT in the kitchen!”

As the video shows at the end, if you want to eliminate the stress of preparing a meal for Thanksgiving, catering or take out is a great option. Many restaurants and grocery stores offer prepared meals delivered or for take out. If you were expecting a lot of guests for Thanksgiving, buying take out for everyone could get pretty expensive, but in a year when many of us will be having smaller than usual Thanksgiving celebrations due to the CDC’s recommendation not to travel for the holiday, ordering a prepared Thanksgiving meal seems like a great way to enjoy all the traditional flavors of the holiday without slaving away in the kitchen.

What was your favorite line from this video? Do you usually cook Thanksgiving dinner? Are you cooking dinner for Thanksgiving this year?
