Kelly Clarkson remains absent from The Kelly Clarkson Show, with a lineup of celebrity guests stepping in as temporary hosts.
The singer and talk show host has been taking a break since late February and into early March. This week is no exception, as previous episodes have featured stars like Marvel actor Simu Liu and comedians Roy Wood Jr. and Wanda Sykes filling in for the Since U Been Gone singer.
On March 3, Simu Liu stepped in for Kelly.
“Kelly isn’t able to make it today. We’re sending her our very best. I did not know that I was doing this until about five minutes ago when I arrived to promote my new movie Last Breath,” he said. “I’m here now, and look, I’m not one to back.
On March 10 and 11, actress and model Brooke Shields will take over hosting duties on the beloved talk show. Sunday Today anchor Willie Geist will step in on Wednesday, followed by model and actress Molly Sims, who will wrap up the week as guest host on Thursday and Friday.
Viewers can also look forward to an exciting lineup of guests. The White Lotus star Patrick Schwarzenegger, Amanda Seyfried, music legend Smokey Robinson, Bridgerton’s Simone Ashley, Joshua Jackson, Kneecap’s Michael Fassbender, and the four champions of the latest season of The Traitors US will all make appearances to discuss their latest projects.
Kelly has yet to share the reason for her absence, leaving fans concerned. It remains unclear why she has been away or when she will officially return. Stay tuned for updates.
