If you love watching true crime documentaries, we think we’ve just found the contest of your dreams. MagellanTV is going to pay three lucky winners $2400 to watch 24 hours of true crime documentaries. That’s a whole day of murder, mayhem and mystery.

These types of shows are not appealing to everyone, but if you can’t get enough true crime, it could be the easiest money you’ll ever make. MagellanTV is specifically looking for people who “can handle the most menacing serial killer, the goriest details, and don’t flinch at the chilling paranormal. And they love it so much that they’re willing to stream it nonstop for 24 hours.”

This is the second year that MagellanTV has had a contest where the winner would get paid to watch true crime documentaries. Last year, there was only 1 winner, and that person only got paid $1000. This year, there will be three winners, and the prize for completing the requirements is a sweet $2400, that’s $100 for every hour you would be watching TV.

Winners will be required to post on social media while completing their true crime documentary watching marathon. Besides getting paid, winners will also get a free one-year membership to MagellanTV.

There are a total of 18 documentaries that winners will be required to watch. Although the contest describes it as a 24-hour marathon, the winners will actually have 48 hours to finish watching all of the documentaries. That means you wouldn’t really have to stay up all night if you don’t want to. You could get a good night sleep, take bathroom breaks and whatever else you need to do to feel sane after watching so many documentaries about insane crimes.

In order to apply, all you need to do is provide some basic information including your social media profiles as well as details about your true crime viewing habits. “To really make yourself stand out, submit a video telling us why you’re perfect for the job.”

This contest is only open to residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old. You have until 5pm EST on May 5, 2021 to apply. If you win, you’ll be contacted by email or phone no later than May 15, 2021.
