Vaccine Hesitant Mom Issues Stark Warning As She Battles Covid-19 While Pregnant

Good Morning America

Many, many people have lined up to get their COVID-19 vaccination. For many, this was an exciting opportunity. Despite the risk of side effects, many people feel that the vaccine is worth it.

Now, the demand for vaccination is less than it used to be. In all 50 states, anyone 16+ can get vaccinated, but many people seem to be hesitant to do so. Is it because of potential side effects?

We understand that hearing about 15 women experiencing blood clots as a potential side effect from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine could make some women hesitant to get that particular vaccine, but in the United States, there are currently two other options.

One group of people who are sometimes hesitant to get vaccinated for COVID-19 is pregnant women. At first, pregnant women didn’t know if it was safe to get vaccinated while they were pregnant, but now there seems to be evidence that getting vaccinated while pregnant protects the pregnant mom as well as her unborn baby from COVID-19.

One pregnant mom decided not to get vaccinated for COVID-19. She didn’t think the risk of the vaccine was worth it. She has changed her mind. While she was pregnant, she contracted COVID-19 and ended up in the hospital. Now, she knows first hand that getting the vaccine would be better than getting COVID-19. Watch the video below to hear the message she wants to share with anyone who is hesitant to get vaccinated.
