French toast was already the best breakfast ever, but it is about to get better than we ever could have imagined! Not only are the BBQ Guys frying it up on the grill, they’re layering it with eggs, cheese, bacon and bacon-infused syrup to make a sandwich straight out of our dreams. I mean, just LOOK at this thing.

You’ll Need

French Toast
– 2 loaves country white bread
– 6 egg yolks
– 4 whole eggs
– 2 cups half & half
– 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
– 1/2 cup honey
– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
– 1/2 stick butter (barely melted & cooled)
– 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
– 2 teaspoons tapioca starch/cornstarch
Building Sandwiches
– 1 pound bacon
– 1 dozen eggs
– 8 slices Colby jack cheese
Bacon-Infused Syrup
– 1/2 pound bacon
– 1 cup pure maple syrup
– 2 pinches coarse salt
