Season 19 of the reality TV show “Sister Wives” is airing on September 15, 2024, on TLC, but there’s a lot we already know about what’s to come in this reality show. For starters, we know that Kody Brown regrets marrying one of the wives.

In a trailer for the upcoming season of the show, which was filmed in 2023, Kody is left with only one wife. While that might sound normal for most marriages, in this polygamist family, one wive is a drastic change for Kody.

Kody formerly had four wives, but three of them recently chose to divorce him. He is currently only married to Robyn, his newest wive. His three former wives, Christine, Janelle and Meri, all say they are done with Kody.

Emotions were high during the trailer as the former sister wives confronted their ex-husband and one even talked about her new boyfriend.

During the trailer, Kody acknowledged that “divorce sucks,” but he claims that’s not the worst part. What he claims is even worse is “marrying the wrong person.” That’s what he claims he did when it comes to ex-wife Meri.

As far as Meri’s concerned, she wishes Kody hadn’t strung her along for literally decades. During a confessional, she said, “What sucks is marrying the wrong person and not having the decency to tell her until 32 years later.”

Kody claims that it’s not as easy as that. While he says about Meri, “I wish I wouldn’t have ever married her,” he also claims that “it’s confusing from day one.”

Yes, he actually told Meri to her face that he doesn’t think he should have ever married her. Her response was, “That is so not fair to me. I would rather you have told me, Kody, years ago.”

Kody is definitely not taking the blame. Instead, he think Meri should blame herself. During a confessional, he said, “Blame yourself if I don’t love you, OK?”

Playing completely innocent, he said, “What did I do to deserve this? What did I do wrong?”

Meanwhile, Robyn, who is still married to Kody, wishes things were different. She said, “I feel like the idiot that got left behind.”

These episodes were filmed in early to mid-2023, and in one episode, Christine introduces her former family to her then boyfriend David Woolley. E! News reports that the couple later got married in October 2023.
